FOOTBALL: Real Madrid win El Clasico at Camp Nou, Messi goal-drought continues

Another El Clasico WIN for Los Blancos as Zidane’s men defeated Barcelona 1-3 away at Camp Nou.

Fede Valverde drew first blood at just 5mins into the game with a rocket-shot, Barcelona levelled through in-form youngster Ansu Fati at the 8th minute…making the Spaniard the youngster goalscorer in the history of El Clasico.

Lionel Messi had his chance stopped by Thibaut Courtois. Second half saw Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos who returned from injury give the Spanish capital the lead once again from the penalty spot after VAR controversy. Substitute Luka Modric then sealed the game with a third goal at the 90th minute.

It finished at Camp Nou: Barcelona 1-3 Real Madrid. Now six El Clasico matches without a goal for Lionel Messi…
