Manchester City’s two year UCL ban has been overturned after successful appeal by the club. The Premeir league side were handed the suspension by UEFA’s club financial control body in February for “serious breaches” of club licensing and financial fair play regulations.
In June, after a 3-day appeal to the CAS, the initial ban has now been lifted and City is free to participate in next season’s Uefa Champions league. The Citizens already securing second place on the EPL table with a 5-0 win over Brighton. The club however will pay a €10m fine for not co-operating with investigation.
