Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar aka "Cardi B" will star in the upcoming 9th installment of Fast & Furious 9. 

 

The news was made known to the public when one of the franchise movie stars Vin Diesel posted a video on Instagram of both of them celebrating their last-filming day in UK. The Instagram video uploaded this October showed the actor alongside the American rapper. 

 

Cardi B will play a "mysterious role" in the upcoming movie set to be released May 22nd 2020. She will join returning Fast & Furious stars: Vin Diesel,Michelle Rodriguez,Tyrese Gibson,Jordana Brewster,Chris “Ludacris” Bridges,Nathalie Emmanuel,Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron.  

Her fellow new cast member John Cena will be the latest addition to the star-studded cast as Vin Diesel revealed. His role is also "undisclosed".

 

This will be Cardi B's second big-screen appearance after her role in Jennifer Lopez-led strippers-turned-criminals movie "Hustlers". She's conquered the music/rap industry...now she aims at movies!
