The wait is finally over! Liverpool are EPL champions 2019/20 season. Their first Premier League title in 30 years, confirmed after Manchester City’s 2-1 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Goals from Christian Pulisic and Willian gave the Blues the victory, despite Kevin Debruyne’s world-class freekick.
Fernandinho was showed a straight red, reducing City to 10-men. Willian converted the awarded penalty to secure all 3 points for Chelsea.
The result crowned Liverpool EPL champions, Jurgen Klopp’s men 23 points ahead of Pep Guardiola’s side in second place on the table.
