Another record off-the-pitch for football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo as the Portuguese captain breaks the 200m Instagram mark. He’s now the “first of the world” to have that number of followers via the social media platform.
The Juventus forward beats other football superstars like Lionel Messi and Neymar as well as celebrities: Ariana Grande,Dwayne Johnson,Selena Gómez and Kylie Jenner…2nd,3rd,4th and 5th most followed respectively on Instagram.
The ONLY Instagram account having more followers than Cristiano Ronaldo currently is “Instagram itself” with over 330 million on its official profile.
According to a study by Instagram marketing company Hopper HQ, Ronaldo pockets 900,000 euros for every sponsored post he makes,around 48 million euros per year,more than what he earns as a player for Italian giants Juventus.
