Manchester United have completed the signing of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes to Old Trafford on a 5-and-half-year deal.
After days of delay due to negotiations and certain issues,the Lisbon captain becomes the 3rd star-player to join the Red Devils,after Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani signed years ago.
The transfer fee is in the region of €55m plus add-ons of €25m depending on objectives being achieved. Bruno Fernandes has 13 goals and 10 assists this season for Sporting Lisbon,Manchester United fans hope to see him produce the superb spark for their team.
25-year old Bruno Fernandes is a freekick specialist,midfield genius and has eye for “long-range” goals.
“My love of Manchester United really started when I used to watch Cristiano Ronaldo play and ever since then I have been a big fan of this great club,” Fernandes told the United website .
“For me to now play for Manchester United feels incredible, I have worked hard to get to this moment and I can promise the fans that I will give everything for the badge to help bring us more success and trophies.
“I want to thank Sporting for everything they have done for me. It is surreal to hear the nice words that have been said about me from players that used to play for this team.
