Half-sister of Kim Kardashian,Kylie Jenner was named by Forbes as the “youngest self-made billionaire” this year;breaking the record set by Facebook CEO Mark Zukerburg at age 23. 

The 21-year old entrepreneur is the CEO of her cosmetic company “Kylie Cosmetics” which she started by age 17 with her own money. 

Kylie Jenner has a net worth of $1billion  and her company Kylie Cosmetics is valued at $900m.

Many criticise the title *self-made* attached to her name because she was born into a family of fame and wealth.

Kylie Jenner makes regular appearances on E! hit series: Keeping up with the Kardashians. Before she launched her company,she had a social media following of over 50 million followers at age 17. Today is over 150 million followers (Twitter and Instagram). 

She has to be given some credit for not totally relying on her family’s wealth & fame but instead using them as stepping stone in building her fashion empire.

Her social media audience during her teenage days gave a massive boost to her cosmetic brand. She got many endorsement deals and revenue from sponsored posts. 

Nowadays,each sponsored post on Kylie Jenner’s social media account is worth $1m. She’s the second highest paid celebrity currently and she enjoys spoiling her family members and friends with luxurious gifts: ranging from fast cars,bags,clothes,make-up kits!
