VALVERDE or OLE: Who’s getting SACKED first

Just recently,Manchester United lost 2-0 to West Ham. No surprise about that. The real shocker was when Barcelona lost 2-0 to promoted side Granada. Fans went mad! 

So,Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or Ernesto Valverde,who’s getting sacked first?

Big clubs Barcelona and Manchester United both have frustrating stats this new campaign,with fans of both sides screaming for the instant dismissal of their respective coaches.

Couple seasons ago,it was Arsenal fans VS Arsene Wenger. At the Emirates,there were always banners at all angles with inscription *WengerOut!*. New coach of the gunners Unai Emery still not completely forgotten from the fans rage.

But at least for now,he’s in a less-tensed environment than Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde and United’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Let’s start with the Catalan giants.
To Barca fans and football world as a whole,it’s still a marvelous wonder how Ernesto Valverde is still the coach after that return leg 4-0 loss to Liverpool. Since that defeat at Anfield,Barca has never been the same. Adding to the humiliation,Barca lost the Copa del Rey to Valencia. Rumors surfaced of Valverde to be sacked the next day but it never came. Some say it’s because of his good relationship with the club’s talisman and legend Lionel Messi. 

Fans complaining he’s killing the tiki-taka style of football and making Barca’s interesting approach to games now look absolutely boring. The fans have endured enough of Ernesto Valverde and want Barcelona board to sack him.

But who’s gonna replace him?

Let’s head to Old Trafford: the theater of dreams! Man United’s problem is not just Ole,he’s just the man currently on the wheel so automatically becomes the scapegoat. 

Ever since Alex Ferguson left Manchester United,the club has struggled to hit their glorious form. The likes of Manchester City and Liverpool are currently enjoying that form. Despite signing Pogba,Zlatan,bringing in coaches like David Moyes,Van Gaal and Jose Mourinho yet no improvement competitively;just economically!

Well Ole was just an assistant coach under Mourinho before he got the job by winning 6-matches-in-a-row. ManU have not had that run in many months so they thought he was their cure.

Manchester United’s problem is majorly football philosophy and squad depth. This current signings (James,Bissaka and Maguire) are the best ones after lots of bad signings.

Same with Barcelona,no doubt Valverde’s football style doesn’t suit the Catalans but Barca also have the problem of an ageing squad and over-reliance on Messi. Seems the hope now is to resign Neymar from PSG,bring in more younger talents(especially from La Masia[Ansu Fati]) and get top replacements for ageing players like Busquets,Pique,Suarez and co.
