Arsenal completed their club-record signing of Ivorian winger Nicolas Pepe from Lille for £72m(over $89m). 

The gunners have smashed their club transfer record which was previously set by Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£56m) from Dortmund.

After much delay by the London club,the highly-rated winger targeted by many top clubs has finally been signed by Arsenal. 

24-year old Nicolas Pepe is currently the most expensive African Footballer at the moment. Cedric Bakambu,Riyad Mahrez are the 2nd and 3rd most expensive african footballers. Aubameyang and Liverpool’s Naiby Keita make up the top 5 expensive African footballers currently.
