It’s now Official! Welsh star Gareth Bale has returned to former club Tottenham Hotspur after joining Spanish giants Real Madrid in 2013. The striker joins the London club alongside spanish defender Sergio Reguilon.
Bale won 2 La Liga titles and 4 Champions League during his time at the Bernabeu. The welshman wasn’t the only new arrival for Jose Mourinho’s team; Bale was accompanied by Sergio Reguilon on Friday’s flight, who also joined Spurs from Real Madrid.
The left-back enjoyed a superb season on loan at Sevilla last term, helping them win the Europa League.
Tottenham made both announcements official on Saturday. Bale will become the club’s new No.9 while Reguilon been handed the No.3 shirt.
