Inter Milan have officially completed the signing of Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid for €40m plus €5m in add-ons. Few days after arriving Italy to complete medical.
The attacking right-back becomes the most expensive defender in Inter’s history. Hakimi will reportedly earn €5m every year until 2025. The 21-year old was the most-wanted defender after his superb loan spells at Borussia Dortmund, where he scored 12 goals and made 17 assists in 72 appearances.
A statement on Inter’s official website reads: “Achraf Hakimi is offically an Inter player.
“The Moroccan, who was born in 1998, has joined the Nerazzurri on a permanent basis from Real Madrid and has signed a contract which will last until 30 June 2025”
Hakimi can play either as a right-back or wing-back.
