Manchester United thrashed Club Brugge a sounding 5-0 to secure last 16 spot in the Europa League. Goals from Bruno Fernandes,Odion Ighalo,Scott McTominay and Fred(2) helped United ease past 10-man Club Brugge at Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar’s side opened scoring with a penalty scored by Bruno after a Club Brugge player was sent-off for handball. Odion Ighalo then doubled United’s lead…becoming the first Nigerian player to score for Manchester United; dedicated the goal to his late sister.
Scott McTominay added the third goal then Fred scored a second half brace making it 5-0.
