England and Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford showed his caring nature during Christmas as the 22-year old gave food and gifts to homeless kids in Manchester.
The forward linked up with Selfridges to launch the “In-the-Box” campaign, teaming up to help some of the city’s biggest homeless shelters: helping those who needed it most during the festive period.
Rashford who scored in United’s 2-0 win at Burnley wrote on Instagram:
“Very proud of what we achieved with #intheboxmanchester this year but also didn’t want to forget my roots at Christmas so really happy our family was able to ship donations to St Christopher’s Children’s Home in Saint Kitts and to see them arrive before the 25th.
“My Nana Cillian Henry lived in Haynes Smith village before she passed away and it means a lot to be able to do this in her memory.
“Hope everyone on the island has a great new year!”
Lots of compliment from fans for the kind gesture by Marcus Rashford. Arsenal legend Ian Wright also praised the striker’s effort.
