It’s all looking set for Lionel Messi to win a record 6th Ballon d’Or trophy on Monday December 2.
The Barcelona star has been supported by many coaches and footballers as well to lift the award,including PSG forward Kylian Mbappe stating in an interview just recently: “In individual terms, Messi was the best this year”.
According to reports,the Argentine has already been informed of his achievement when a team from France Football magazine went to Barcelona to create the graphic report. The winner of the Ballon d’Or would’ve known the result before hand so he can shoot the cover for France Football magazine.
The 32-year old is on a three-man shortlist for 2019 Ballon d’Or alongside longtime rival Cristiano Ronaldo(Juventus) and Virgil Van Dijk(Liverpool). Lionel Messi helped Barcelona last season win the 10th La Liga title of his career,scoring 36 goals with 13 assists.
