Liverpool have completed their first summer signing for £1.3m. 

After facing stiff competition from desperate Bayern Munich,Ajax,PSV and host of Europe top clubs; Liverpool land Dutch teenage defender Sepp Van den Berg from PEC Zwolle. 

The youngster was signed for £1.3m by the Reds with add-ons of £3.1m to Zwolle if Van den Berg establishes himself as a first-team player. (add-ons include Premier league and Champions league appearances) 

The Champions league winners currently have 4 Central-Backs at the moment (Virgil Van Dijk,Joe Gomez,Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren) but see the Dutch youngster as one for the future. 

For Liverpool,Sepp Van den Berg is a defender who can develop for a long term and also capable of playing first team football when needed.
