Players overshadowing players is a very strange experience you might not understand unless you’re the overshadowed one. We have the case of Messi and Neymar now Mbappe and Neymar. Well that’s for another time,today is about Dybala and Ronaldo.
Both players seem and look happy on the pitch,exchanging each other’s goal celebration but their goal stats tell the opposite story. Ronaldo is the main man at Juventus,currently the league’s highest goalscorer while Dybala is not among the top 30 highest goalscorers this season.
Dybala has the power and talent to score outside box goals and change matches within minutes but the presence of Ronaldo makes this sometimes impossible for the Argentine. Dybala scored a hat trick this season only when Ronaldo was given a Uefa Champions league match ban featuring Young boys.
Juventus should not limit their goal threats to only Cristiano Ronaldo but also allow Paulo Dybala to continue scoring goals for the club and not being a mere goal provider for mostly Ronaldo then Mario Mandzukic.
