BARCELONA sign Kevin-Prince Boateng as backup to Suarez

31 year old Ghanian International Kevin- Prince Boateng has been signed as back up striker to Luis Suarez.

The brother of Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng is currently on loan from Serie A club Sassuolo for £2m with an option to buy £8m at the end of the season if he impresses.

This transfer move has amused the football world even the player himself was surprised saying it was the most stressful 24hrs of his life.

He’s been handed the No.19 jersey previously worn by now Sevilla striker Munir. Kevin Prince Boateng hopes to score in the El Clasico. He might not be one of Europe’s top strikers at the moment but his goals are memorable to watch.

Boateng has traveled a lot around Europe,once played for Tottenham, Portsmouth,AC Milan,Schalke 04,Genoa,Dortmund,Las Palmas,Frankfurt,Sassuolo before joining the Catalan giants Barcelona on loan as backup to Luis Suarez.
