10 Best Midfielders in the World right now

The time of midfield great and Spain/Barca legend Andres Iniesta is coming to an end. Other midfield greats like Xavi,Lampard,Paul Scholes and Steven Gerrard already retired.
Thus there is need for midfield stars to step up and grace the football stage. These are my 10 best midfield geniuses in Football.
1. Kevin De bruyne: Belgium and Manchester City is probably the best midfielder at the moment. His presence in games is so electrifying. Considering former coach Jose Mourinho gave him no chance at Stamford bridge. Kevin rose to fame when he switched to bundesliga side Wolfsburg before joining the Citizens. Kevin is also the main engine of Pep’s team after the likes of kun Aguero and David Silva.
2. Luka Modric: plays for Croatia and Real Madrid football club. First regarded as a *flop* when joining Tottenham Hotspur as well as his move to Los Blancos, but despite that, luka modric worked hard and proved his critics wrong. He’s also the captain of his national side.
3. Toni kroos: teammate of Luka Modric and German international. Kroos has always been an exceptional midfielder right from his youth days. Kroos was so good,Thomas Mueller could not start at Bayern Munich.
4. Ivan Rakitic: Croatian International and FC Barcelona player. Brought in from Sevilla to replace Xavi at camp Nou,Rakitic has grown to become a top class midfielder constantly feeding the ball to the likes of Messi and Suarez to score the goals.
5. Phillipe Coutinho: Masterclass player, free kick specialist, talented dribbler and Brazilian playmaker. Coutinho movement and vision is what stands him out in matches.
6. Mesut Ozil: Call him slow or lazy, the German international will always be one of the best in the game. On a good day,Ozil is unstoppable. The German is able to create pinpoint passes through defensive walls.
7. Isco: Spain’s most talented player also part of my list. Loves dribbling and full of tricks. Isco’s movement with the ball is so amazing.
8. Paul Pogba: Yes,Pogba the dab king. One thing I like about the Frenchman are his long crosses as well as his outside box shots. Plays for the richest club in the world Manchester United.
9. Thiago Alcantara: Plays for Bayern Munchen. This Spaniard also played for FC Barcelona. He knows the tiki taka style of football so well.
10. Last of my list has to be Denmark and Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen. Since his move to spurs,Eriksen has been exceptional. He’s also a free kick specialist too. The denmark international has a very good eye for goal and spotting his teammates.
