Lazio striker Ciro Immobile wins the Capocannoniere Award/Golden Boot as the highest goalscorer in Serie A this season. His goal in Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to Napoli made it 36 league goals for the Italy International…who has also equalled the league record set by Gonzalo Higuain during his time at Napoli (2015/16: most goals in a single Serie A season).

Immobile finished 5 goals ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo (31 league goals) who was left-out of Juventus final league match of the season.
Another award for the Lazio forward was the European Golden Shoe…the first in his career, after beating Robert Lewandowski who ended on 34 league goals for Bayern Munich.
