FOOTBALL: Jamie Vardy wins Premier League Golden Boot, Golden Glove for Ederson

Despite 2-0 home loss to Manchester United and Uefa Champions league miss, Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy became the Premier League’s oldest Golden Boot winner at age 33.

The England International finished the PL 2019/20 season with 23 goals, one ahead of Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Southampton’s Danny Ings on the scoring charts.

Vardy overtakes Chelsea legend Didier Drogba as the oldest Premier League top scorer. Drogba netted 29 goals for the Blues at age 32 in 2009/10 season. 

Manchester City duo De Bruyne and goalkeeper Ederson were awarded the Premier League Playmaker Award and Golden Glove respectively, Liverpool’s Captain Henderson voted PFA Player of the Year.
