Paris Saint-Germain lifted their 13th Coupe de France title in history as they returned to their first competitive football match in France since Covid-19 impact.

Neymar scored the only goal as the French giants defeated St-Etienne 1-0 in final to lift the trophy, though Kylian Mbappe was injured following a reckless tackle from Loic Perrin. The St-Etienne captain was sent off for the harsh tackle as players from both clubs engaged in a fight. As a result of this, many yellow cards were given. Mbappe was taken off the field but returned on clutches after the match to celebrate with his teammates.

The French president Emmanuel Macron was in attendance at the Stade de France, as well as a small section of supporters from both teams. It finished: PSG 1-0 St-Etienne.
