A huge success in its first two weeks after release on Amazon Prime Video, “The Boys” season 2 was confirmed last year even before Season 1 began airing, with filming now wrapped up despite Covid-19 saga.
The Amazon Original series(Season 2) to premiere September 4, 2020 on the streaming service, Amazon Prime Video. The first three episodes will be released at once, while the remaining five of Season 2 will be released weekly. (Dates subject to change) Season 2 will be more bloodier and brutal!

• Episode 6: September 25, 2020
• Episode 7: October 2, 2020
• Episode 8 (finale): October 9, 2020
Season 1 of “The Boys” ended with Butcher finding out his wife still alive and raising villain Homelander’s son in secret. This makes Butcher’s life even more complicated…, Butcher’s dog “Terror” involved in the upcoming season too.
Most of the core cast from season one will return, including favourites like Karl Urban (Billy Butcher), Jack Quaid (Hughie), Erin Moriarty (Starlight) and Chace Crawford (The Deep).
The Seven also remains intact: Erin Moriarty (Starlight), the terrifying Anthony Starr (Homelander), The Deep (Chace Crawford), and Queen Maeve (Dominique McGelliot) will be back and potentially form part of Vought’s fightback against Billy’s crew. Jessie T. Usher (A-Train) should also be up and running for season 2.
Even some of the major characters who died could also appear again in flashbacks too. However, the only casting news that’s actually been confirmed so far is Aya Cash, a new addition to the show who’s set to play a super-powered neo-Nazi called Stormfront….who is “on par or worse than Homelander,” according to sources.
She replaces Translucent as a member of The Seven in season two after he was blown up by a bum bomb. She’s gonna cause a lot of trouble.
Black Noir going to play a much larger role in season 2. The mysterious masked member of The Seven, played by Nathan Mitchell, will feature in some “diabolical action,” Also a “f**king force” in the upcoming episodes.
