FORBES: Cristiano Ronaldo is the Highest-Paid Footballer in 2020

Forbes annual list released on Friday revealed Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo as the highest-paid footballer this year.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi and PSG star Neymar, 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Ronaldo (£85.3m), Messi (£84.5m) and Neymar (£77.4m), the top 3 highest-paid footballers according to 2020 Forbes list.

1. Roger Federer (Tennis)
2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Football)
3. Lionel Messi (Football)
4. Neymar Jr (Football)
5. LeBron James (Basketball)

“The coronavirus pandemic triggered salary cuts for football stars Messi and Ronaldo, clearing the way for a tennis player to rank as the world’s highest-paid athlete for the first time,” said Kurt Badenhausen, senior editor at Forbes.
