Real Madrid’s rising youngster Cesar Gelabert is currently targeted by several clubs including rivals Barcelona. The 19-year old Spanish International made his debut for Real Madrid’s reserve side Castilla at age 17.
For years now, Barcelona have tried to sign the promising attacking midfielder but were turned down, now the Catalan giants are back again for Gelabert, whose current deal at Real Madrid expires in 2021, though Los Blancos is hopeful of tying him down to a new deal but lack of first-team opportunities remains an obstacle especially with likes of Gareth Bale,James Rodriguez and Lucas Vazquez spending plenty of time on the Bernabeu bench.
Other clubs like Manchester United,Lyon,Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal also keeping tabs on Cesar Gelabert.
Arsenal’s scouting team under coach Arteta have been watching him in action at the UEFA Youth League where he scored a wonderful goal. The Gunners seem well placed to sign the youngster but Barcelona wants Gelabert too.
