Take me back to the days
When love meant affection not infatuation
Take me back to the times
When love meant sacrifice not compromise
Take me back to those years
When love connoted sacredness
Take me back to the centuries
When love still had taste
Take me back to those times
When purity was the Foundation of love
Take me back to those olden days
When sex was a taboo to the unmarried
Take me back to those moments
When feelings never meant madness
Take me back to those seasons
When Valentine’s day interpreted agape not erotic
Take me back to the days
When “l love you” never gave a sexual thirst impression
Finally, take me back to those days
When forgiveness was from the stand point of love not from sexual pacification.
