A superb Camp Nou performance by Barcelona as the catalan giants eased pass Mallorca in a 5-2 win. 

Lionel Messi scored his 35th hat-trick,Griezmann and Suarez also on the scoresheet. 

Messi showed off his 6th Ballon d’or award to Barcelona fans before the match kicked off. His hat-trick sees the Argentine overtake Cristiano Ronaldo as the player with most La Liga hat-tricks. 

Ronaldo had 34 hat-tricks before leaving Real Madrid to join Juventus. Messi’s hat-trick also puts him in race for the pichichi award despite absence at the start of the season due to injury. Messi tops the goalscorer’s table with a goal ahead of Real Madrid’s Benzema.
