Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema was upset by the harsh comment made by France Football Federation (FFF) President Noel Le Graet and hits back ” If am done playing for the National team,Allow me play for another country am eligible for..and let’s see”.

After Real Madrid coach Zinedane Zidane praised the superb-form No.9 stating “In footballing sense,Benzema is meant to be included in the France National team”.
This statement sparked debate about the striker’s inclusion into Didier Deschamps’ France team. The coach himself Didier Deschamps replied to Zidane’s statement saying: “He’s the coach of Real Madrid,is his role to say that”.
FFF President then ruled out Benzema’s adventure with France saying: “He’s a great player, one of the best in his position but his career with the France National team is over”.
After harsh comment from the FFF President,Benzema opened the possibility of joining another eligible country. He can also play for the Spanish National team too.
But Algeria(country of his parents’ birth) is the likely destination for the Real Madrid forward but the process of changing nationality will be complicated.
He would have to change both his passport and citizenship. This effective change has to be done by the French government. The striker would then approach FIFA to get approval to play for another nation if he’s no longer able to represent his country.
Benzema has not featured for France since his infamous scandal involving teammate Mathieu Valbuena.
Many Les Bleus fans want his return to the national team considering his excellent form since the start of 2018/19 season.
