JUVxPES Exclusive deal: Result of EA sports BACKSTAB to Cristiano Ronaldo ?

Just recently videogame company Konami;creators of PES signed a 3year exclusive deal with Italian football giants Juventus. This effect caused an immediate £660m drop in valuation for their main rivals EA sports FIFA.

The new JuvXPes deal sees only Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 have full access to exclusive features of Juventus football club in game mode,like licensed logos,official kits,stadium coverage and many more. PES staff have rights now to collect 3D scan of Juventus players in order to produce more real-like features during gameplay.

For EA sports FIFA on the other hand will have to replace the club name Juventus to *Piemonte Calcio* in FIFA20 and also won’t be able to include Juventus intellectual properties in their release videogame editon this September 2019.

For years now,PES has found it difficult and almost impossible to beat FIFA in the aspect of gaining full licenses to club names and logos. That’s why PES uses North London as *Arsenal*,Man Red as *Manchester United* etc. 

So how did the JuveXPes Exclusive deal happen? Now FIFA20 will definitely have an awkward feeling with the custom name *Piemonte Calcio* and fake Juventus logo. *Most videogame players will want to use Cristiano Ronaldo(Juventus team) during gameplay*

The new deal has to be as a result of how EA sports FIFA treated Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo during his rape allegation period. Ronaldo was the cover star of FIFA19 before the start of World Cup Russia. EA sports featured his former club Real Madrid in gameplay trailers including his wonder bicycle-kick goal against Juventus. After the World Cup 2019,Cristiano Ronaldo completed his shock move to Juventus which EA sports FIFA had to make promotional changes.

Then weeks after his Juventus move,a rape allegation popped-up against Cristiano Ronaldo. After days of the situation heating up,EA sports then removed the Portuguese star picture from their website and used Kevin Debruyne,Paulo Dybala and Neymar as FIFA19 cover stars.

EA sports didn’t support their cover star during that period and disassociated themselves with Cristiano Ronaldo. FIFA20 has Tottenham winger Heung Min Son voted by fans to become the next cover star,though Kylian Mbappe,Eden Hazard and Neymar are favorites for the cover of FIFA20. Current Ballon D’or holder Luka Modric and Real Madrid target Paul Pogba are also favorites for the spot.

With all these in motion,its no coincidence the Juventus/EA sports partnership was terminated and the Italian giants signed the new 3year Exclusive deal with PES(Konami).

PES might finally be gaining equal ground with EA sports,not only in terms of gameplay,real player likeness but also in terms of license rights.

PES has partnerships at the moment with Barcelona,Liverpool,Atletico Madrid,Dortmund,Bayern Munich,Manchester United and other clubs with Juventus the newest addiction. Only the Juventus partnership is exclusive; meaning only PES can show fully licensed official kits and other intellectual properties of Juventus FC in their upcoming PES 2020 edition.

Is the monopoly of EA sports FIFA coming to an END?
