Riyad Mahrez has won 5 titles this 2018/19 season as a footballer. The Manchester City winger won the Premier League,FA Cup,Community Shield,League Cup and now captained Algeria to lift the 2019 African Cup of Nations. Mahrez was the Semifinal hero as his last-minute stunning free kick goal knocked Nigeria out of AFCON and booked the finals for Algeria.
Riyad Mahrez’s Algeria defeated Sadio Mane’s Senegal 1-0 through an early goal by Baghdad Bounedjah,which was the only goal in last night final.
Senegal kept on pressuring Algeria with high ball possession and counter attacks but couldn’t find the back of the net. Senegal also had a penalty award overturned by VAR.
It finished in Egypt(Cairo).
