9 Champions League favorites this Season

With the likes of Barcelona,Manchester City,United,Juventus,Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid,Bayern Munich,Dortmund,Roma,PSG,Liverpool and few others qualifying into the Uefa Champions league round of 16.
There’s need to note the clubs with bigger ambitions going into the next round of this competition. The following top clubs have equal chances of lifting the trophy at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

In no particular order,the first has to be the current title holders and three time back-to-back-to-back winners Real Madrid,though under the guidance of former coach Zidane and goalscorer Ronaldo who left to join Juventus. Madrid no doubt are struggling domestically but Los Blancos is a totally different side in Europe’s top competition. And with the new coach and experience on their side,they’re still a force to reckon with.

Barcelona especially with Captain Messi are also set for the trophy considering their rivals Madrid won the last three in a row. Lionel Messi just became the highest goalscorer in the competition surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo. With Messi fit and firing,Barca can win the UEFA Champions league.

Pep’s Manchester City also on the list of potential candidates for the Champions league trophy. After failing on numerous occasions with Bayern,Pep is focused mainly on the Champions league and building his players for the task ahead. If he doesn’t win it or reach the final,his second season in charge of the citizens would be termed a failure.

Juventus with a great boost of confidence after signing the Uefa champions league goal machine Cristiano Ronaldo. Probably the Portuguese’s favorite competition considering he was also responsible for their exit at numerous stages of the game,including his play station goal of the year against Buffon last season. Bayern has always had this problem of crashing out at the semifinals of the competition but with a new coach,a twist is possible.

Atletico Madrid considering their stadium is the venue for the champions league final,very sure coach Diego Simeone would ensure his lads play and fight till the very end. Simeone’s side have suffered at the hands of Real Madrid at the finals twice but since defeating the Spanish giants at the super cup,Griezmann and co with the addition of Diego Costa and Thomas Lemar;with Los Blancos struggling with form,a shift in power at the Capital is possible.

Liverpool: Klopp’s men playing in grand style at the moment. Salah back to his goalscoring form. Mane’s pace still a threat,Firmino,Sturridge and Shaqiri also firing for the Reds. Van dijk and Alisson on top form too. Adding to the fact they were runners up last season to current title holders Real Madrid. But with their new signings,more is to come from Liverpool this time around.

Paris Saint Germain: Has the most effective and consistent attacking trio in world football. Neymar,Cavani and best French footballer at the moment Kylian Mbappe. Also with top experienced players like Bufffon,Di Maria,Draxler and more. PSG is definitely a force to reckon with.

Manchester United: Since the sack of Jose Mourinho,the Red devils have found both their winning and goalscoring form. All opposing teams get ready because it’s pay-back-time.
